卢炎1930年出生于中国南京,自小性喜音乐,并立志学习作曲,却直至1949年考上台湾师大音乐系,才有机会正式学习音乐。师大毕业后,他先后在台北市的建国中学、国立艺专任教,并同时继续随大学时代的老师萧而化学习和声及对位法,为时五年,奠定稳固而扎实的理论基础。 Lu Yan was born in 1930 in Nanjing, China. Since childhood he likes music and is determined to study composition. However, he did not have the chance to study music formally until he entered Taiwan Normal University in 1949. After graduating from the National Taiwan Normal University, he successively taught at the Jianguo High School and the National Arts College in Taipei City, and continued to build a solid and solid theoretical foundation for the five-year study of harmony and registration of teachers in his college days .
