位于北京西山风景区香山公园内的香山饭店,是建筑大师贝聿铭1979年初在中国大陆接下的第一项工程。在美艳如画的香山公园内,他花费了大量的心思进行设计规划,力求将西方现代建筑原则与中国传统园林的营造手法,巧妙地融合成具有中国气质的建筑空间。在当今建筑设计国际化浪潮中,香山饭店坚持民族性创作,继承东方传统建筑的精髓。
Xiangshan Hotel, located in Xiangshan Park in Xishan Scenic Area, Beijing, is the first project to be completed by mainland architect IM Pei in early 1979. In the picturesque Fragrant Hill Park, he spent a lot of time and energy planning and design, trying to combine the principles of Western modern architecture with those of Chinese traditional gardens, skillfully blending into the architectural space with Chinese temperament. In today’s wave of internationalization of architectural design, Fragrant Hill Hotel adheres to national creation and inherits the essence of traditional oriental architecture.
