Flannery O’Connor, in his magnificent and subtle narrative, maps out a perplexed perplexity of life, whose work focuses on the lives of ordinary people. Wicked faith and dark violence are the most common themes in their literary narrative. The work is always full of professed Christians, and religion appears to be ubiquitous but seldom gets real. O’Connor looks at the world from the point of view of a devout Catholic and then considers the existence of God from the relationship between the world and salvation. O’Connor exposes human nature and also looks at the reality through the creation of two characters, “grandmother” and “out-of-date man”, who are hard to find. The two characters that she portrayed show us the grace and redemption that are available, even in a Christian, shadowy, unbalanced world.
