在中国的画坛上,王有政是一位只顾耕耘不喜炒作的画家。我曾经说过,在物欲横流的纷乱面前,王有政的作品没有矫情没有虚幻,以细致入微的笔触反映现实生活,体现了人性的真情和大美,但在当今美术界却似乎缺少应有的重视和评价。其实,王有政的创作早在1977年就受到我国主流媒体的关注,他创作的《大地主人》当年被刊登在《美术》杂志的封面上,此后王有政的创作一发而不可收,从第五届全国美展获得银奖起,一连五届都有银牌铜牌收入囊中,这在陕西的美术界绝无仅有,在全国的美术界也屈指可数。
