隐喻研究历史悠久,各隐喻理论流派层出不穷。“构式”概念的引入有助于厘清隐喻研究的发展过程,揭示各流派之间的潜在联系。本文在构式视角下探讨隐喻研究的发展,并在此基础上讨论当前隐喻研究中存在的问题。研究表明,各隐喻理论流派在隐喻定义和阐述中均对隐喻的意义或形式有所侧重,这在一定程度上反映隐喻的构式特征。隐喻流派之间并非完全割裂,而是存在一定的传承,整个隐喻研究的发展过程表现为一个连续体。
Metaphors research has a long history, an endless stream of metaphor theories. The introduction of the concept of “Constructivism ” helps clarify the development of metaphorical research and reveal the potential connection between different genres. This paper explores the development of metaphorical research from the perspective of construction, and on this basis, discusses the existing problems in the current metaphorical research. The research shows that all genres of metaphor theories focus on the meaning or form of metaphor in the definition and elaboration of metaphor, which reflects to some extent the structural features of metaphor. The genres of metaphor are not completely separated, but exist some inheritance. The development of metaphor research manifests itself as a continuum.
