理论和实验上简要分析研究了由两段保偏光纤组成的光纤环形镜的反射谱特性,提出了利用保偏光纤环形镜进行掺铒光纤放大器(EDFA)增益平坦化的方法。应用该方法,在1527~1562nm范围内,EDFA自发辐射谱的不平坦度为±1dB。
The reflection spectrum characteristics of the fiber loop mirror composed of two segments of polarization-maintaining fiber are theoretically and experimentally analyzed. The method of flattening the gain of the erbium-doped fiber amplifier (EDFA) using the polarization maintaining fiber loop mirror is proposed. Using this method, the non-flatness of EDFA spontaneous emission spectrum is ± 1dB in the range of 1527 ~ 1562nm.
