美国著名汉学家高友工在《中国律诗美学》一文中提出了“镜像”效果说,这对于重新理解传统的近体诗声律,提供了一个形象生动的西方批评式解释,因而对于美国当代的汉学研究产生了影响。但是高友工发现了一面镜子,却没有找出是谁放置了这面镜子,所以“镜像”论并没有揭示出声律的本质特性。中国的声律实际上体现了道的演化,它表现了律诗平仄的内在运动。
The famous American scholar Gao You-Gong put forward the “mirror image” effect in his article “Aesthetics of Chinese Legal Asty,” saying that this provides a vivid and critical western explanation of the sound of traditional near-body poetry. Therefore, Research has had an impact. But Gao You-workers found a mirror, but did not find out who placed the mirror, so “Mirror ” theory did not reveal the essential characteristics of the rhythm.
