1 Overview Traditionally, imaging diagnosis of gastrointestinal diseases mainly rely on gastrointestinal barium double contrast imaging and endoscopy, but the amount of information provided by these methods can not meet the needs of diagnosis and treatment. The appearance of spiral CT provides a very valuable tool for the diagnosis of gastrointestinal diseases. Spiral CT scan is based on the traditional CT rotary scan through the slip ring technology
