中国政府目前致力于改革职业教育与培训体制,教育部周济部长指出,加强职业教育和培训,是推动新阶段社会全面发展的迫切需要,是统筹城乡协调发展、构建和谐社会的重要体现,是构建中国特色社会主义现代化教育体系、建设学习型社会的重要内容。2005年6月举行的“上海教育论坛”就学习型社会与职业继续教育、现代产业与职业技术教育、能力与职业资格培训、现代社会与现代职业教育体系等4个专题进行了广泛交流。本刊特安排一组文章(前两篇是作者在论坛上的发言,第三篇是此次论坛的综述),以飨读者。
