11月3日,由中国科协、中国工程院和上海市人民政府联合主办的2004年世界工程师大会在上海国际科技会议中心隆重举行,来自70个国家和地区的近3000名工程界精英欢聚申城,共向探讨“工程师塑造可持续发展的未来”。为期3天的会议举办了主题报告、7个分组专题报告、中国重大工程成就展暨论坛、各国伟大工程录像展播、“未来工程师联展”青少年系列交流活动、女工程师论坛、院士圆桌会议等活动。本次大会是迄今为止在我国召开的规格最高、规模最大的工程技术界的国际盛会。
On November 3, 2004 World Engineers Conference, co-hosted by China Association for Science and Technology, Chinese Academy of Engineering and Shanghai Municipal Government, was held at Shanghai International Science and Technology Conference Center. Nearly 3000 elites from 70 countries and regions gathered in Shanghai , To explore “engineers shape the future of sustainable development ”. The 3-day conference held thematic reports, 7 sub-group presentations, China's major engineering achievements exhibition and forum, the great works of all countries video broadcast, “Future Engineers Exhibition ” youth series exchange activities, women engineers forum, academician round table conference activity. This conference is by far held in our country the highest specifications, the largest in the world of engineering and technology world event.
