京剧锣鼓的艺术形式是伴随着京剧表演艺术不断的丰富、发展而逐渐完善、成熟起来的。现今舞台上常用的锣鼓点子约有四、五十种之多。大致可分为:身段锣鼓、唱腔锣鼓、念白锣鼓三类。其实,一个锣鼓点子对于舞台表演所具有的作用和意义是多方面的。如属于唱腔的“起头”锣鼓的[长锤][纽丝][夺头][凤点头]等,也都兼有伴奏身段表演的功能;而[四击头][切头][八大仓]等一些打身段的锣鼓点子,也常起到加重念白的语气,强化唱、念节奏的作用。所以,不能绝对地把一个锣鼓点子仅限于某一种类型的使用之中。这也不符合舞台伴奏的实际情况。这里,向读者朋友介绍几个以伴奏身段表演为主的锣鼓点子。
