湘椒 3 1号 (原名湘运一号 )为中晚熟、辣味型耐贮运品种 ,其母本 970 4A是从湖南地方品种 2 1号牛角椒中天然不育株经多代回交选育的优良不育系 ,父本 82 15是从湖南一晚熟地方品种经多代自交选育的抗病、抗逆性强的优良自交系。湘椒 3 1号果实牛角形 ,较粗 ,果绿色 ,味辣 ,商品率高 ,耐贮运。从定植至采收 5 0d左右 ,产量 2 5 0 0～ 5 0 0 0kg/667m2 ,抗炭疽病、疫病 ,耐病毒病 ,耐热耐湿能力较强 ,耐旱性中等 ;适于嗜辣地区作中晚熟丰产栽培。
