有报导在妇女或猴的整个月经周期中,每天注射黄体生成素释放激素(LHRH)的高活性类似物,在初期的刺激时相后,随之为垂体卵巢轴系的抑制及阻断排卵。这种用药方式在避孕方面的意义已经评价,此外,对卵巢甾体产生的抑制作用还有可能用于治疗妇女的功能性子宫出血或子宫内膜异位症。短尾猴月经周期中的激素变化与妇女的变化非常相似,因此,作者使用月经出血天数过多的短尾猴,研究了 LHRH 类似物在治疗功能性子宫出血中的可能作用。
It has been reported that daily administration of a highly active analog of LHRH during the entire menstrual cycle of a woman or monkey ensues subsequent suppression of the hypophysial ovarian axis and blocking ovulation during the initial phase of stimulation. The significance of this mode of administration in terms of contraception has been evaluated, and in addition, the inhibitory effect on ovarian steroidogenesis may be useful in the treatment of functional uterine bleeding or endometriosis in women. The hormonal changes in the menstrual cycle of cynomolgus monkeys are very similar to those in women. Therefore, using the cynomolgus monkeys with excessive menstrual bleeding days, we investigated the possible role of LHRH analogues in the treatment of functional uterine bleeding.
