七零后陶艺艺术家周芳与当下多产且频频亮相于展览的艺术界劳模们相比显得有些低调,一方面与她个人心性有关,另一方面则多少源自她的生活创作环境。在她的创作心路上,在现有的环境中找到某个凝固的触动瞬间,一件作品就自然而然地出现在内心世界。而这种相对缓慢的内心节奏,也让她对作品更具细致的追求。尽管陶艺作品中对生肖或是其它动物形象的创作并不少见,周芳在其中找到的个人创作的舒适点,则是不被材质、技艺所束缚的广度而深入其中。
Zhou Fang, an artist of pottery and ceramics, Zhou Fang is somewhat understated compared with the art workers who nowadays live in prolific fashion and exhibit frequently. On the one hand, they are related to her personal feelings, and on the other hand, she derives much from her life creation environment. In her creative way, in the existing environment to find a frozen touch moment, a work naturally appear in the inner world. And this relatively slow inner rhythm, but also to her more detailed pursuit of the work. Although the creation of the image of a Chinese zodiac or other animals is not uncommon in pottery works, Zhou Fang’s comfort points for personal creation found therein are not broadened by the material and the arts.
