In biological systems, monooxygenase, exemplified by cytochrome P-450, can efficiently catalyze hydroxylation and epoxidation of organic substrates by molecular oxygen as the terminal oxidant. For this reason, a lot of attention has been paid to the continuous research to explore chemical models in order to provide a basis for deeper understanding enzymatic functions and to develop artificially catalytic reaction systems which can exhibit excellent activity and practical usability for syntheses related to preparative oxidation in organic chemistry[1].
