The seismic moment tensor which reflects the global seismicity for seven years (2004 ~ 2010) is given. These results are the product of the Global Mind-Moment Tensor (GCMT) program. The program maintains and extends the catalog of global seismic moment tensors since the 1976 earthquake. Since the 2004 earthquake, the global moment of mind tensor analysis has made use of the progress made in the study of mid-period surface wave propagation characteristics maps, including these mid-period surface waves into the moment tensor inversion. This correction of the centroid tensor algorithm makes it possible to globally globally determine the moment tensor of earthquakes as small as MW = 5.0. For the period from 2004 to 2010, 13017 new centroid tensor tensions were reported.
