敏东王的玉石法令1800年,缅甸贡榜王朝波道帕耶王(又译为孟云,1782—1819年在位)执政时,鼓励中缅贸易,翡翠交易也兴旺起来,以至猛拱“当日人迹罕至之地,已辟为康庄”。敏东王(1853—1878年在位)在1869年,颁布了对玉石开采和贸易的相关法令,包括12项条款。法令的实质是对未经皇室许可就从事玉石开采的商人进行惩罚。按照法律规定,获得许可的开采者上缴他们所得玉石的一半到国王的交易中心,而另一半要卖给皇家代理人,价格则是
