报纸对一定时期内发生的最突出或最具有代表性的事件进行连续报道,是报纸常用的报道形式。一次成功的连续报道,即通过对具有典型意义的人或事的剖析,引出普遍性的经验或教训,可以达到指导工作、澄清认识、教育读者之目的。今年3月26日至5月19日,人民日报对辽宁纠正错捕三律师案进行的连续报道,除了在头版发了两个头条新闻一篇评论外,还连续在国内专页(政治·法律)版发了一篇答记者问,一篇纠正错案纪实的长篇通讯,一篇由著名法律专家写的分析文章。从社会效果看,应当说这是一次成功的连续报道。
