A new study reported here today found that heart attacks are more common in shorter people than in tall ones. The obvious reason is that the shorter arteries are smaller and more vulnerable to damage due to fat deposits, which leads to the onset of most heart attacks. A person who is 5 feet 7 inches tall or shorter, is at a greater risk of having a first heart attack than a 6-foot-1 inch tall or higher
