目前石油天然气资源的输送主要依靠长距离埋地管道来实现,管材一般为钢制管道。由于长输管道均采用埋地方式铺设,穿越地段地形复杂,土壤对管道有着不同程度的腐蚀性,漏损处也不易及时发现,且地下管道的维修要进行大量的土方工程,比新建管线还要费工。中国石油管道公司承担国内陆上大部分油、气田油气外输管道的建设组织及运营管理任务,下辖近万公里原油、成品油、天然气长输管道,分布在全国十几个省、自治区、直辖市。因此,如何防止埋地管道的腐蚀破坏,长期以来一直是管道安全生产运营管理中的一个重要环节。
