从2009年湖北省高中新课程改革全面启动以来,在各级政府和教育主管部门的亲切关怀与大力支持下,江陵中学解放思想,抢抓机遇,趁势而上,克难奋进,大胆探索,理性推进,稳步实施,坚定信心,一路前行。三年来,学校办学思想全面提升,学校管理推陈出新,队伍建设全面加强,办学质量稳步提高,办学特色口益显著,办学环境日趋改善,学校公信力和社会影响力不断增强,已经成为全省新课程改革先进实验校之一。三年来,学校先后获得“湖北省先进基层党组织”“湖北省园林式学校”“湖北省绿色学校”“湖北省消防教育示范学校”“湖北省安全文明校园”“湖北省高中课程改革重大课题项目实验
