Whenever people ask me about my age, I will be proud to answer that I am a peer of New China. I heard the gunpowder sounding new China because I was born in Beijing. After 10 years of celebration, I was lucky enough to participate in the children’s observance. After the parade had ended, I took Tian children to the Tiananmen Square. That was the first time I met Chairman Mao. That scene has been vividly recorded, unforgettable life! I am more fortunate than their peers also participated in the National Day parade and Tiananmen Square’s National Day party. As I celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Republic, I think I am very happy when I think about the earth-shaking changes in my motherland and my own experiences of growing up.
