The studies on the early life history of fish mainly relate to fishery closely related to the development of eggs and larvae, optimum breeding conditions of larvae, density of feed, nutrition, growth, critical period, starvation, predation, environmental endurance and toxicity reaction The protection of natural resources of fish and the breeding seedling breeding foundation. Nearly two or three decades ago, the study of early life history of fish has become a brand new field of aquatic science, which has received extensive attention and developed rapidly in the world. The International Council for the Development of the Seas (ICES) held three seminars on early life history of fish, which were hosted by Blaxter (1974), Lasker and Sherman (1981) and Blaxter et al. (1988) respectively. In addition, Moser et al. (1984) in the United States and Marliave (1985) also hosted similar international conferences in Canada. The American Fisheries Society formally established its fish in 1980
