In recent years, with the progress of agricultural mechanization in our country, the wheat combine harvester with reliable quality and stable performance has basically solved the problem of wheat harvest in our country. However, another more prominent mechanization of rice harvesting is the new demand of farmers. In 2000, China’s paddy planting area was about 32 million hm 2, and its acreage and output accounted for 34% and 45% of the total grain planting area and total output respectively. Rice is China’s largest acreage, the highest total yield of food crops. The machine yield is much lower than wheat, only 10%. How to meet the needs of vast numbers of peasants and realize the mechanization of rice harvest as soon as possible?
