中国风格钢琴以作品乐思清新、风格鲜明、笔法简洁,民族特色突出,情感朴素而真诚。在风格上与西方的传统和现代钢琴音乐都有很大的区别,在演奏方法上也有别于西方音乐。尤其在节奏、节拍以及速度等方面,中国传统音乐的“拍无定值”“死曲活奏”的演奏意识同欧洲传统音乐严谨刻板的演奏意识迥然不同;在调式、音阶、和声以及旋法等方面,中国的传统音乐多以五声性调式为主,单声音乐思维处于支配地位,和声构成原则以二、四、五、六度等非三度叠置为特点。显然,只有掌握了中国风格钢琴作品的文化内涵、风格意蕴等,才能够正确地诠释中国风格钢琴作品。
