西北八省(区)造林科技座谈会,于1974年7月27日至8月5日在甘肃省张掖地区召开。出席会议的有生产、科研、教学、新闻、出版等部门的代表120人。这次座谈会议是在批林批孔运动和抓革命、促生产取得很大成绩的大好形势下召开的。会议首先学习了毛主席对林业和科技工作的指示及中央文件,开展了批林批孔;座谈了西北八省(区)林业生产和科学研究的大好形势;参观了张掖地区的张掖县、临泽县治沙造林现场;广泛地交流了西北地区治理风沙、保持水土、防治盐碱和营造农田防护林等方面的经验;重新修订了协作计划,并对今后如何开展协作进行了认真地讨论。会议认为,当前西北地区林业生产和科学研究工
Northwest eight provinces (regions) Afforestation Technology Forum, in July 27, 1974 to August 5 in Zhangye Prefecture of Gansu Province held. There were 120 representatives from production, scientific research, teaching, news and publication departments attending the meeting.
