曹辛之(一九一七—一九九五),笔名杭约赫、曲公等,江苏宜兴人,著名书籍装帧设计家、诗人。曾任中国装帧艺术研究会会长,中国作家协会、中国美术家协会、中国书法家协会会员,中国民主促进会中央出版委员会副主任委员。一九三六年,曹辛之与吴伯文、孔厥等人合办抗日文艺周刊《平话》。“七事变”后他奔赴山西抗日前线。一九三八年到延安,先后就学于陕北公学与鲁迅艺术学院。抗战胜利后,在上海与臧克家等人创办星群出版社,
Cao Xinzhi (1917 - 1995), pseudonym Hangyou, Qu Gong, Jiangsu Yixing, a famous book binding designer, poet. He was the president of China Binding Art Research Association, the Chinese Writers Association, the Chinese Artists Association, a member of China Calligraphers Association, and a vice chairman of the Central Publishing Committee of China Democracy Association. In 1936, Cao Xinzhi and Wu Bo-wen, Kong Jue and others co-organized the anti-Japanese literary weekly “Ping Dialect.” “Seven things change ” after he went to Shanxi anti-Japanese front. In 1938 to Yan’an, he studied at Northern Shaanxi University and Lu Xun Art Institute. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, Star Group Publishing House was founded in Shanghai with Zang Kejia et al.
