新《课程标准》强调:“让学生人人学习有用的数学”“把数学作为人们日常生活中交流信息的手段和工具”“重视从学生的生活经验和已有的知识中学习数学和理解数学。”因此,教师应努力为学生提供他们所熟悉的情境,充分利用学生现有的知识经验和他们所熟悉的事物组织教学,让多姿多彩的生活实际成为数学知识的源头,使数学真正成为学生生活中的需要。同时还应拓宽应用数学知识的渠道,培养学生分析和解决实践问题的能力,真正达到学以致用的目的。
