据统计,冠状动脉心脏病(简称冠心病)已成为发达国家人口死亡的主因之一.在我国,随着人民生活水平的提高,该类疾病的发生率和死亡率也呈现出迅速上升的趋势.冠心病的病理特征为动脉血管粥样硬化,系由脂肪沉积于动脉内壁形成的斑块构成,其主要成份为胆固醇.许多研究表明,胆固醇及低密度脂蛋白胆固醇(LDL-C)的水平与冠心病的发病率密切相关.
