硬度的检定方法很多,普通约可分为三类,即重量分析法,肥皂液法和酸碱溶液滴定法;而后者只用一种标准溶液(酸溶液和碱溶液),能得较准确的结果,时间又甚经济,不论暂时硬度,永久硬度,镁硬度,负硬度均可测出,故采用此分析法者颇多。最近由苏联介绍一种与碱度及负硬度有关之含钠量,为操纵及调节水之软化之利器,亦属于此范围內,兹拟一并介绍,并先述硬度之测定法。
