我国金铜佛铸造的记载最早见于汉末。陈寿《三国志·吴书·刘繇传》有载:“笮融者,……大起浮图祠,以铜为人,黄金涂身,衣以锦采,垂铜盘九重,下为重楼阁道,可容三千余人,悉课读佛经……”《后汉书·陶谦传》也有类似记载。据考证,其确切时间约在公元192年至193年之间。早期的金铜佛造像,是佛教信徒私人或者寺庙供奉的佛像,创制早于石窟和造像碑,对后来的石窟艺术产生了很大的影响。早期的佛
