镗孔加工一般采用单刀片,其功效甚差。为提高镗孔功效,已出现了各种多刀刃镗杆。基于这些经验,日本九州工具制作所设计了可调平衡镗孔刀头,其结构见图1。这种刀头的特点是:1)有两个刀刃同时平衡地切削,与单刀刃相比,进刀量和走刀量均可增大,可进行大余量切削,适用于粗加工。也可用单刀刃进行精加工。2)两个刀刃的进刀量,可分别用各自的微调螺丝调节,调节刻度值最小为0.05mm,配上千分表可进行0.01mm的微调。3)刀片采用焊接方式或多刃刀片方式,便于更换。4)为使排屑良好,刀片的左右侧均开有几条凹
