The sedimentary area of Zhungeer Basin is about 130,000 km~2 and itssedimentary rocks from Carboniferous till Latter Tertiary are 2,000m inmaximum thickness.Owing to the long-term and stable sinking dominatingover the basin and the influence of the rift-differential movement in thebasin,different oil-forming depressions were formed in different geologicalperiods.With the development of geological history the oil-forming depres-sions were transferred.Six oil-forming depressions(Fig.1)used to bedeveloped in Zhungeer Basin during its geological history.They are the
