In production and daily life, heavy metal pollutants can enter the body through the skin, respiration, digestive tract and other means, leading to impaired reproductive organs and spermatogenic cells, causing endocrine disorders, causing abnormal expression of reproductive-related genes, affecting male (Male) normal spermatogenic cell apoptosis, resulting in reduced semen quality, reduce the number of sperm, sperm abnormalities increase, or even infertility. The author summarizes the research progress on toxic effects of heavy metals such as lead, mercury, cadmium, nickel, manganese and arsenic on spermatogenic cells, and provides the basic data for studying the intrinsic mechanism of heavy metal toxicity on male reproductive toxicity and preventing and controlling male reproductive toxicity of heavy metals.
