据说哈尔滨的名称来自女真话中的“哈拉滨”,后来辗转相传,便成了今天的“哈尔滨”。冰天雪地中,女真猎人孤独地行走,但见一大群天鹅优雅地栖息在松花江上,忍不住兴奋地大喊起来:“哈拉滨!哈拉滨……”回音透彻天地,也变成了哈尔滨的地名。香港的英文拼写是Hong Kong,和中文发音有所出入。粤语“香”字应该拼作Hueng,普通话拼作Xiang。英国殖民者为香港地名订立英文名称多采用粤语拼音,但为何偏偏香港中的“香”字就作Hong不作Hueng呢?
