The Japan Space Development Board compiled the 1992 space development plan on March 25, 1992. The plan identifies specific development plans based on the situation at home and abroad, the progress of domestic research and development, long-term forecast of space applications and the like and in accordance with the purpose of the space development policy revised in June 1991.
