It is one of the key technologies of Asynchronous Transfer Mode Passive Optical Network (APON) that using service scheduling algorithm to realize Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation (DBA) among different service levels to ensure quality of service (QoS) of access service. The designed service scheduling algorithm of APON system realizes the dynamic bandwidth allocation between service levels through the basic bandwidth allocation and the remaining bandwidth redistribution. The algorithm modeling and simulation and the actual system testing prove that the algorithm has good performance, simple implementation and strong usability
