果蝇(Drosophila melanogaster)具有生活史短,繁殖率高。饲养简便等特点,是研究遗传学的好材料。尤其在基因分离、连锁,交换等方面,对果蝇的研究,更是广泛而充分。因此,用果蝇验证遗传学的三个基本定律和伴性遗传。不仅是必不可少的好材料,而且完成这些实验所需时间只要一个多月。同时,学生做这些实验也有较大的兴趣。
