[English]/Trombetta D...∥Phytomedicine.-2006,13(5).-352～358 Opuntia ficus-indica (L.) is a tropical or subtropical plant that grows in South America as a nutritional and food resource in the drought. Many regions have cultivated their phyllo-phages with anti-ulcer and healing activities. The authors studied the treatment of extensive skin lesions in rats with two polysaccharide extracts from the stem of the plant.
