武陵山片区分布着土家、苗、侗、瑶、白等世居少数民族,民族传统文化资源丰富,文化元素多样、底蕴深厚;由于旅游业的快速发展及民族传统文化的不科学开发等多方面的原因,武陵山片区民族传统文化遗产和生态系统遭到了巨大破坏;民族传统文化保护及无障碍旅游机制构建迫在眉睫,用多形式、多渠道的协作方式对武陵山片区民族传统文化进行保护,构建无障碍旅游机制实属必要。
