Affected by the traditional Chinese culture, Japan also extends the use of the twelve zodiac signs that are twelve customs. However, due to the different histories of domesticated pigs, “pigs” in Japan’s 12 genera are actually wild boars and Japanese folklore is also centered on wild pigs rather than domestic pigs. Under the influence of the characteristics of farming culture in Japan, the customs and traditions of Japan about “pigs” all revolve around the god of mountains (god of the god) and the spirit of the sea of gods. The worship and belief activities also contain rich and fertile content, reflecting the Sino-Japanese culture At the same time, it also reflects the Japanese’s unique understanding and understanding of “pigs.”
