溃疡病(包括胃溃疡及十二指肠溃疡)是我国的常见病、多发病,尤以十二指肠溃疡为多见,但对其发病率尚缺乏系统的研究,根据有些统计资料报道,十二指肠溃疡与胃溃疡的比例约为3.1:1。在性别方面,男性溃疡病的发病率高于女性,为3.9～8.5:1。多发于青壮年,21～50岁者占72.7～80%。40岁以上者以胃溃疡为多。
