Sponsored by China Artists Association, Propaganda Department of Hebei Provincial Party Committee, Hebei Provincial Department of Culture, Shijiazhuang Municipal People’s Government, China Artists Association Watercolor Art Committee and Shuguang New Bureau of Shijiazhuang City hosted the first National Gouache Exhibition in 2015 January 10 afternoon opening in Shijiazhuang Art Museum. This exhibition is the first time gouache as a single type of painting in our country for the first time to display a total of 2972 works collected for the country, the final selection of 178 winning entries. The large-scale production, great vision, and the diverse artistic concepts exhibited by the works have broken the shackles of the traditional concepts in positioning the small paintings of gouache.
