谢成科教授,1913年2月出生于四川省荣县。1932年考入华西协合大学理学院制药学系,1936年获理学士学位,并留校担任助教。1941年任讲师,1945年任副教授。1947年到加拿大多伦多大学药学院深造。新中国成立后,谢教授怀着海外游子归心似箭的心情,毅然放弃即将获得的硕士学位和当地药厂的高薪聘请,于1950年底回到了祖国,立志将自己的毕生精力献给祖国的药学教育事业。同年,他被母校聘为教授。
Professor Xie Chengke, born in February 1913 in Rong County, Sichuan Province. In 1932 admitted to West China Union University College of Pharmacy, 1936 Bachelor of Science degree, and stayed as a teaching assistant. Lecturer in 1941, 1945, an associate professor. 1947 to the University of Toronto School of Pharmacy. After the founding of New China, Professor Xie, with the hearts and minds of overseas tourists, decided to give up their upcoming master’s degree and high-paying local pharmaceutical companies and returned to the motherland at the end of 1950. They determined to devote their entire life to the medicine of the motherland Education. In the same year, he was hired by his alma mater as a professor.
