地质雷达是地质勘探的一种有效的勘探方法，其应用范围还在不断扩大。本文结合笔者工程实践，对探地雷达的探测原理及其应用于地质灾害调查方面的可行性进行了分析阐述，通过地质雷达在地裂缝、岩溶塌陷、滑坡以及活动断裂调查中的应用实例分析。
