美国作家杰克·伦敦的重要代表作《海狼》,在整整一百多年的漫长岁月里被全世界读者反复阅读,至今仍未失去其艺术魅力与社会价值。本文通过对“魔鬼号”上卫登和拉尔森之间的斗争、卫登原始生存本能的回归和卫登的胜利几方面的具体分析,得出结论:弱者终于战胜了强者,文明终于战胜了野蛮。抒发了作者对强权者的谴责和对人生命运的思考,讴歌了社会正义,谴责了暴力和强权,表明了作者的人生理念。
The important representative work of the American writer Jack London, “Sea Wolf”, has been read by readers all over the world for more than 100 years and has not lost its artistic charm and social value so far. Through the analysis of the struggle between Weiden and Larsen, the regression of Weiden’s original survival instinct and the victory of Weiden, we conclude that the weak finally defeated the strong, Civilization finally defeated barbarism. It expresses the author’s condemnation of the powerful and his reflection on the fate of human life. He sings social justice, condemns violence and power, and shows the author’s philosophy of life.
