“Zi Yuan” is a 2009 national publication fund-funded project, which is the first large-scale academic monograph to systematically sort and study the origin of Chinese characters. Edited as a famous historian and ancient literary scholar Mr. Li Xueqin, editorial board members include Zhao Pingan, Chen Shuangxin, Li Shoukui, Xu Zaiguo and many other scholars who walked in today’s academic frontier of ancient philology.
