ADS注入器ⅡRFQ加速器用来将10mA的质子束流从能量35keV提高到2.1 MeV。该RFQ加速器的结构采用了美国SNS RFQ的设计,其横截面形状为正方形,采用π模稳定杆来增加腔体的高频稳定性。腔体冷态测试结果显示,其场平整度好于±0.01,无载Q值为13 000。经长时间锻炼,腔体最终实现了连续波工作状态。在流强为10mA时进行了脉冲束流和连续束流的加载实验,对束流的测量结果显示,束流传输效率为95.3%,输出能量为2.165 MeV,束流能散为1.9%,束流水平和竖直横向发射度均为0.33πmm·mrad。
The ADS injector II RFQ accelerator was used to raise the 10 mA proton beam from 35 keV to 2.1 MeV. The structure of the RFQ accelerator using the United States SNS RFQ design, the cross-section of the square shape, the use of π-mode stabilizer bar to increase the high-frequency cavity stability. Cold chamber test results show that the field flatness better than ± 0.01, unloaded Q value of 13 000. After a long period of exercise, the cavity finally achieved continuous wave working condition. The pulsed beam and continuous beam were loaded at a flow rate of 10 mA. The measurement results of the beam showed that the beam transmission efficiency was 95.3%, the output energy was 2.165 MeV and the beam energy dispersion was 1.9% The horizontal and vertical lateral emittance are both 0.33πmm · mrad.
