新世纪的春天,迎来了北京市世界语协会20周岁生日。2001年2月24日上午9点,在外文局会议室举行了北京市世界语协会成立20周年纪念会。有关领导、社会各界知名人士、专家、学者及首都新老世界语者近百人参加了纪念会。出席会议的有首任中国驻美大使、中国世界语之友会会长、北京市世界语协会名誉会
The spring of the new century ushered in the 20th birthday of the Beijing Esperanto Association. At 9 o’clock in the morning on February 24, 2001, the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Beijing Esperanto Association was held in the conference room of the Foreign Language Bureau. About 100 leaders including leaders, people from all walks of life, experts, scholars, and the old and new cosmopolitan speakers of the capital attended the ceremony. The first Chinese ambassador to the United States, the President of the Chinese World Association for Friends of Friendship, and the Beijing Association of Esperanto Association’s reputation were present at the meeting.
