The Government of the People’s Republic of China and the Government of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, in order to facilitate and regulate mutual payment between the two countries, have now agreed on the following articles: Article 1 All payments between the People’s Republic of China and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia shall be made on the basis of the current Foreign Exchange Control Act. Article 2 The plenipotentiaries responsible for the implementation of this Agreement on behalf of the respective governments of the Contracting Parties shall be the People’s Bank of China and the National Bank of the People’s Republic of Yugoslavia. The People’s Bank of China shall open an interest-free and free account in the name of the National Bank of the People’s Republic of Yugoslavia, using the British pound as the recording currency, and its name shall be “Yugoslavia’s account.” The Federal Bank of Yugoslavia, the People’s Bank of China, should open a free and fee-free program on behalf of the People’s Bank of China
